Organist – St. John’s Episcopal, Cuyahoga Falls. The Part-time organist will be available for one Sunday service with music (10:30am) as well as holy days and seasons such as Christmas, Holy Week, and Easter. Total expectations range from 5-7 hours per week. Weddings and funerals represent additional income with the ability to negotiate rates. Our parish is growing with interest from both liturgical and non-liturgical traditions; familiarity with liturgical worship is an asset, yet flexibility in style is preferred. While our first priority is for accompaniment and congregational leadership, as we continue to grow, we hope to expand the position and compensation as we rebuild a choir. The minimum salary is $10,000 and is negotiable. A music degree is not required. This is an opportunity to serve in a low-key but collaborative environment. Short-time and permanent applicants are welcome to apply. Find information about our Schantz pipe organ at https://akronago.org/organ/st-johns-episcopal-cuyahoga-falls.
