The Cleveland AGO Chapter offers placement services to its members and to religious institutions seeking qualified musicians. A list of available positions in the Cleveland area is published in each monthly Cleveland Chapter Newsletter, which is available for download from this site.
The Cleveland Chapter has a Placement Officer, who can be reached by email at placement@agocleveland.org. The Placement Officer assists AGO members in finding suitable positions. The Placement Officer also assists religious institutions in finding qualified candidates for vacancies in churches and synagogues, as well as assisting in locating substitutes.
The Placement Officer also maintains a list of substitutes who are available to assist churches and synagogues. The up-to-date substitute list is at the bottom of this page, with telephone numbers and (when available) email addresses. Please be aware that the substitute list changes frequently, so the Placement Officer can give the most up-to-date information. The most recent list can be downloaded as an Excel spreadsheet at the bottom of this page.
The national AGO organization also offers assistance in job searches. More information can be found at the national AGO web site .
